How did Jeneesh Image & Beauty begin, and what made you want to start the business?

I have always had a deep interest in the Beauty Industry, but more than that, people have always been my passion. I love connecting with people, listening to their concerns and helping them feel better about themselves.
It has now been 21 years since I started my journey in the Beauty Industry, and over the years, Jeneesh Image & Beauty has grown into much more than a beauty business. It has become a place where I can combine my passion for people with my love for beauty, skin health and transformation.

When someone walks into Jeneesh, what do you want them to feel or experience – beyond just receiving a beauty treatment?

I want every person who walks through our doors to feel that they are in a safe, comfortable and caring space.
Whatever their concern may be, I want them to know that there is always hope and that there is always something we can do to help. Sometimes it is not only about changing the way someone looks, but also about helping them regain their confidence and feel good about themselves again.

What do you think has kept clients coming back to you over the years?

I believe every client has their own personal reason for coming back, but perhaps one of the biggest reasons is that we always try to find a solution that is right for the individual.
Beauty and skincare should not be about fitting everyone into the same treatment or expecting everyone to have the same budget. We take each person's needs, concerns and circumstances into consideration and work with what is realistic for them.
Another important part of Jeneesh is our philosophy of “Aesthetic Beauty. The Natural Way.” We believe in enhancing and caring for our clients in a way that still looks natural and beautiful.

What do you enjoy most about working with and getting to know your clients in Richards Bay?

My passion has always been people. I love getting to know my clients and creating a space where they feel comfortable, valued and safe.
I genuinely love every treatment I perform, but what I enjoy most is seeing the transformation – not only in someone's skin, but also in the way they feel about themselves.
When a client and I walk that journey together and I see their confidence grow, that is incredibly rewarding to me.

You've recently expanded the offering with massage treatments. What made you decide to bring more of a wellness element into Jeneesh?

Bringing wellness and massage treatments into Jeneesh felt like a natural and necessary extension of what we offer.
Life has become so fast-paced, and we are constantly trying to keep up. I think we often underestimate how important it is to simply stop, breathe and take care of ourselves.
A body massage is not only about relaxation. It gives us an opportunity to reconnect with our bodies and consciously use our senses. Taking time to care for yourself is not a luxury – it is important for both the body and the soul.
