Richards Bay Community Hub is operated by 1ClickPro. We respect your privacy and only collect information reasonably needed to run the Hub, manage local listings and submissions, protect the platform, and understand how people use it.
Depending on how you use the Hub, this may include business information, contact details you choose to provide, listing or claim information, quote requests, lost-and-found pet reports, images you have permission to publish, and information submitted through correction or removal requests.
Please do not submit private information that is not needed for the service you are using.
We may use information to operate the Hub, publish approved public information, manage business listings, process requests, route Compare Quotes enquiries, prevent misuse, improve the platform and measure activity such as page views, calls, WhatsApp clicks, directions and website clicks.
Information intended for publication, such as business listings or approved lost-and-found pet reports, may be visible publicly. Businesses can request that inaccurate information be corrected or removed.
If you submit a Compare Quotes request and give permission for your details to be shared, we may send the information you provided to up to 3 participating local providers so they can contact you about that specific request.
Your information is not shared through that consent for unrelated marketing.
Pet reports should use a general area rather than a private residential address. Contact details are optional. Images should only be submitted where the person submitting them has permission to publish them.
Expired or closed reports may be removed or de-identified.
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, operational records, security, dispute handling or legal requirements.
Closed or expired information may be deleted or de-identified.
We use reasonable safeguards including protected administration, access controls, rate limiting, bot protection and security logging. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
You may ask us to correct or remove information where appropriate through our Privacy / Correction / Removal Request page.
If you believe your personal information has been handled unlawfully, you may also contact the Information Regulator of South Africa.
